The
7 km of golden sands, is the ideal for the sun and
beach lovers, who can play different kind of sport
or simply relax themselves during the hot days of
the summer. The sea-bed is soft, without holes or
currents and is gently sloped, making the area
especially suited to children.
The temperature is already mild in May and remains
pleasant through September.One
of the major features of the Adriatic Riviera is the
way the beaches are organised. The
bathing establishments create along the coast a
single large holiday village.
Large
areas are dedicated to sport: swimming, windsurf and
water-ski-ing schools and to Sailing Clubs. Areas
are also set aside for playing boules,
beach-volleyball, basketball and children's games. |

Cesenatico....your
dreamholiday
at
the Adriatic Coast ... |
|
|
|
Cesenatico is one of the more important
and known bathing centers of the Romagna. It has an ancient
history tied to the beach. Every day you can choose your
ideal vacation. Maybe a trip on the sea, walking
or cycling in the great city parks or in the
tree-lined avenues. CESENATICO has been for many centuries a
maritime, fishing and commercial centre. Today the canal
port is still the city's heart, where the boats of the
modern fishing fleets tie up facing the typical restaurants
famous for their fish cuisine.
|
|
|
|
|
In
the canal port, planned by Leonardo Da Vinci, you can admire
the Maritime Museum, a practically unique and very beautiful
collection of ancient boats, whose multi-coloured sails and
hulls recount the story of centuries of fishing and maritime
traffic. And in addition....the beaches, the pinewood, the
marina, the Giardini al mare (sea gardens), the big parks,
the sport facilities, the fish market.
